Public Art Project

Waukesha, WI

.

You may be familar with the 2012 Guitartown project.

I painted this giant guitar featuring Les and his friends.

The guitar spent 3 years as public art on the streets of Waukesha, WI USA.

It was proudly displayed again in front of the Waukesha Freeman Newspaper building, 801 N. Barstow Street, Waukesha, WI 53187.

It now is in the hands of it’s sponsor.

.

NOW   GuitarTown II

I am honored to have been chosen as one of the local artists

to get a playable Les Paul Guitar to paint.

Thank you to everybody who believes in me!

The new project is called…
“Rock’n & Roll’n”

Here is my proposed design…Honoring Les Paul & Harley Davidson during their 110th anniversary

The beginning…

Preparing the surface of the new “Canvas”

Well under way…

What could be more fun than a Les Paul Les Paul?!?

What if?

Drying before the Metal leaf can be applied.
