Presenting, Freddie Mercury of the band Queen. This is another musician who’s been highly requested over the years by my followers, some who were persistent in providing inspiration for the project.
I’m portraying Queen’s flamboyant frontman in his mid-eighties stage outfit, featuring black lightning bolt stripes & red satin sash. Freddie wore these during the band’s The Works tour (1984-1985), including during Queen’s performance at Rio De Janeiro’s Rock in Rio festival in January 1985. Freddie was a British singer, songwriter and record producer, widely known as the lead vocalist and songwriter of the rock band Queen — and widely known for his extravagant stage persona and four-octave vocal range. Consistently voted one of the greatest singers in the history of popular music, he was voted best male singer of all time in a 2005 poll.
Freddie Mercury died November 24, 1991 at the age of 45 at his home in Kensington.
