new mural in Waukesha WI USA,,

“The World is Plugged In”

Now completed on the Fox River side of the Discount Liquor building, our Les Paul mural is based on the concept that the music world already knows about Waukesha, and the legacy of Les Paul. Waukesha has nothing to prove! Its a given!!

When I was first asked to contribute to the Waukesha mural project, my immediate thought was that visitors coming to Waukesha as a music destination, understand how important Les was to the industry.

The Guitartown aspect of Waukesha on a whole, is bigger than most people think. We are going to attract many music buffs, important musicians of today, and tomorrow who are going to want to visit this vital puzzle piece in the history of music. The mural reads…”Welcome to Waukesha…The World is Plugged in to Our Town”. When these people view our mural, I want them to nod their head and say “absolutely!” People will realize that whether they knew it or not, they’ve been plugged in to our town all along.

(Mural artist are Tom Noll, Neal Vogt & Flo Winzenried…all painters of Guitartown II guitars)

Wow! What an honor to paint the Welcome symbol for the city. They are lucky to have had Les, as well as the great talents since, including you!
